Pausing in the Light
I LOVE this photo of Beth, one of my students, pausing as she gazes at the light outside the barn.

Lately, I have been thinking a lot about light and darkness. For those of us who live life with a spiritual perspective, we often speak of how the light dispels the darkness, how light conquers darkness. And, it is so true!! But, the more I live on this earth, the more I see that both light and darkness are needed. A tiny candle can dispel even the darkest night.
Spiritual transformation happens with light, for sure. BUT, it also happens when we are in our darkest moments, moments of struggle, facing our shadows of who we are, both the beautiful and not so beautiful. For me, one of the most painful experiences of my life was when I got divorced. And yet, it opened the door to touching lives in SUCH a huge way…It opened the door to MY life in a huge way! I believe the challenges of our lives are meant to create a capacity in us towards greater love. So that, the darkness we walked through can take us to the light.
Currently, I am walking through my own type of “darkness”, as I live with the incredible unknown of relocating the farm. I am feeling what needs to be felt and I am trusting, always trusting. I do not know where I am going, but I believe that there is Someone who does know…and that is where my trust and hope is anchored. Along the way, we continue to touch and transform lives here at The Resonant Horse, aiding all who come with an open heart to greater freedom and clarity. It is a profound and sacred work which we do, and I am always grateful!
We continue to have lovely options for those who want to spend some time at the farm!
Our next Horse Circle is Saturday, December 7th, from 1:00 -2:30. It will be held rain/snow or shine. If the weather is inclement, we shall have the Horse Circle inside the barn. $25.00
Even with the chilly weather, we still offer one on one sessions here at the farm…What a GREAT GIFT to offer yourself, or a loved one!! It is AMAZING what transpires with the horses during these intimate sessions! Contact us for gift certificates!!
Wednesday, December 25th…that is right…Christmas Day, we will be having a SPECIAL HORSE CIRCLE…DEVOTION IN A BARN. 1:00-2:30 pm. Join us for some hot cider and warm hearts, as we explore the Christian faith within the context of where it began…in a barn. Suggested donation: $25.00, but do not stay away if you cannot pay!
